The power action

On every candidate record, under Power Actions, sits Convert to Customer — it marks the person as a BD lead / client contact. The record keeps everything: conversations, notes, files, history.

When to use it

  • A placed candidate starts hiring for their new team.
  • A shortlisted-but-not-placed manager was impressed by your process and mentions an open role on their side.
  • A market-read BD conversation starts with someone who entered your database as talent.

After converting

Link them to their company record (create it if it’s new — stage: Lead), log the next step as a task, and the BD motion runs on the same rails as everything else. No retyping, no second CRM.
