A recruiter signs in from a lot of places: the office laptop, a phone between two client meetings, a colleague’s screen during a hand-over. A password has to be typed in all of them, and sooner or later it ends up in a chat message or on a sticky note. A login link avoids all of that. You enter your email, we send you a link, and the link signs you in. It works once and only for a short time, so it cannot be reused by anyone who finds it later. The link is now the normal way into Yena. Google sign-in stays, and a password still works if you prefer it.

1

Open Yena and enter your email

Go to my.yena.ai. Type the email address you use for Yena and click Email Me a Login Link.

2

Open the email and click the link

The email arrives within a minute. Click the button in it. Yena opens, signs you in and takes you to your workspace. You can open the link on any device, so the email on your phone also signs you in on the laptop you are reading it from.
The link works once and expires 15 minutes after you asked for it. If it has expired, go back to the sign-in page and request a new one. The old link does nothing.

If the email does not arrive

  • Check the spam folder. The sender is Yena; add it to your safe senders once and this stops happening.
  • Check the address. The link goes to the address you typed, and only to an address that has a Yena account. A typo gives you nothing, not even an error, because we never confirm whether an address exists.
  • Wait a few minutes before asking again. You can request a handful of links per address in a quarter of an hour. After that the page asks you to wait, and the next request goes through once the pause is over.
  • Still nothing? Use Sign in with a password instead on the same page, or Continue with Google if your workspace uses Google accounts.

Keep it safe

The link is as personal as a password. Do not forward the email. If a colleague needs access, invite them from Settings → Team and they get their own link. If you think a link has been seen by someone else, do nothing: it expires on its own, and it cannot be used twice.
Working from a shared or borrowed computer? The link signs you in on that machine only for as long as the session lasts. Sign out from the menu under your name when you leave, as you would with any account.
