# Candidate records

> What lives on a candidate: experience, conversations, files, tasks, linked jobs, and AI Intelligence.

A candidate record is the system of record for everything you know about a person.

## What's on the record

* **Experience and education** with tenure stats: average tenure, time in current role, total experience. Every field is editable.
* **Tabs for the working history**: References, Conversations, Notes, Files, Tasks, Activity, plus linked Companies and Jobs.
* **Record details** in the right rail: title, email, phone, company, LinkedIn. Revealed contact details from the Sourcer land here.
* **Similar** surfaces candidates with a comparable profile from your own database.

## AI Intelligence

**Generate AI Intelligence** on any record produces smart tags (industry, seniority, language) and structured facts about the candidate, and applies the tags to the record so filters and search pick them up.

## Power actions

A candidate who turns out to be a hiring contact can be converted: **Convert to Customer** marks them as a business-development lead or client contact without retyping anything.
