# Glossary

| **Sourcer / SourcerPro**      | The search engine at the heart of Yena: brief in, screened and ranked shortlist out.                                                                 |
| **Verified search**           | One full SourcerPro run — screened against your profile, ranked, with market read. Metered; cost shown before every run.                             |
| **Ideal Candidate Profile**   | The structured draft the Sourcer builds from your brief — role, seniority, location, must-haves — which you edit and approve before the search runs. |
| **Market read**               | The pool assessment that ships with every search: match strength, employer concentration, recommendation.                                            |
| **Calibration**               | Your Yes/Maybe/No reviews (plus reasons) that teach the Sourcer your standard and re-rank the shortlist.                                             |
| **Refined run**               | A follow-up pass on an existing search with added constraints — via suggestions or the refine chat.                                                  |
| **Data credit**               | Pays for one contact reveal (email or phone); charged only if something is found.                                                                    |
| **Reveal**                    | The lookup that turns a profile into a reachable person.                                                                                             |
| **Import**                    | Moving a sourced candidate into your ATS database; creates the employer company record automatically.                                                |
| **LinkedIn extension**        | The browser companion: one click on a LinkedIn profile saves it to Yena, with dedupe alerts and direct job assignment.                               |
| **Mandate / Job**             | A search you run for a client. Lives on the jobs board (Hold, Open, Filled, Lost, Closed).                                                           |
| **Pipeline**                  | The per-job stages a candidate moves through, New → Hired; customizable per job and via workspace templates.                                         |
| **Pool**                      | Your whole candidate database, available in every job's pipeline sidebar.                                                                            |
| **List**                      | A curated candidate group that crosses mandates ("silver medalists Q3").                                                                             |
| **Smart Match**               | Matching your existing pool against a mandate's criteria — the free first pass before external sourcing.                                             |
| **Similar**                   | The candidate-record tab that finds lookalike profiles in your own database.                                                                         |
| **Client portal**             | The branded page where a client reviews candidates: approve/decline, batches, anonymization, downloads.                                              |
| **Portal project**            | One client portal can carry several mandates; each is a project with its own feedback.                                                               |
| **Batch**                     | A deliberate set of candidates presented together in the portal.                                                                                     |
| **Careers page / apply link** | The public, candidate-facing pages every job carries; applicants land on the Applied stage.                                                          |
| **Embed snippet**             | The iframe that puts the careers page on your client's own website.                                                                                  |
| **Convert to Customer**       | The power action that flips a candidate record into a BD/client contact, history intact.                                                             |
| **AI Intelligence**           | Generated smart tags and structured facts on a candidate record.                                                                                     |
| **Tenant Admin**              | The workspace settings area: team, pipelines, custom fields, imports, billing, data quality.                                                         |
| **Verified contact**          | An email or phone returned by a reveal, marked as verified on the record.                                                                            |
